Meeting the Ministry of Health

On Feb 15th health co-ops from Vancouver Island and others from elsewhere in the province will meet with the BC Ministry of Health.  The aim is to discuss the ways in which HCCFC members are already active in the priority areas of the Ministry and to take steps towards further co-operation.

Researching Our Sector

Thanks to the leadership of Dr. Leonora Marcellus the HCCFC has submitted a research proposal to investigate the community impact of health care co-ops in Canada.  We hope to receive a response by the end of February, and hope that it will be positive as this is an important area for us to understand.
